[Elcarp]

Growing up under the tutelage of the world-feared Greybeard Intero (a strange name for a hairless froglok, to be sure), Elcarp left his father's vessel and evil ways in search of something good out of life, although not before learning a good deal about the art of fencing. Elcarp emerged as something of a prodigy with a light-weight blade, able to fend off even the strongest of brutes with his quick thrusts and insidious hopping. However, he knew there was more to life than raiding and pillaging, so he set out to do good. In attempt to hide his family heritage (the Intero name being well-feared, even among fellow pirates), Elcarp dropped his surname and now goes strictly by Elcarp. He also went so far as to change his speech patterns, adopting a new accent and forgoing the ship-board language of a pirate for that of a proper gentlefrog. He appears most polite on the outside, but inside, the pirate upbringing lingers still, waiting, like a bloodhound, to be unleashed on the unsuspecting...

Feeling that he has successfully established a name for himself in his own right, Elcarp has once again started using his family name, no longer fearing any stigma that may be attached to it, and he has started to slip back into the language of the corsairs he grew up with, though he still maintains a few of the "proper" habits developed over the past years. Now a well seasoned frog, he roams about to and fro, looking for others to help.
