There are many benefits to membership in the House Ancora community. The primary benefit to joining the community is the ability to preserve online friendships even when one is not actively gaming, or is gaming in a realm different from one’s peers. Additionally, joining House Ancora gives a gamer broad opportunites to join with like-minded people in a variety of games, and unlimited ability to bring good people and guilds into the community. It is our aspiration to provide an environment where collective effort and synergy are cultivated providing for an economy of both activity and resource.

We are delighted you are considering membership within the House Ancora community. The process is a simple one and is outlined below.

1. Read the Creed.
2. Agree to play with House Ancora endorsed groups or guilds when and where the option is desirable, available and plausible.
3. Register on the House Ancora website and create a user profile. The username created on the site should be the name by which you wish to be known in the community.
4. Complete a brief application post on the forum within the Hall of Petitions board that includes the following:
   1. The name by which you wish to be known. This name will serve as your permanent identity within the gaming community.
   2. A current email address.
   3. A brief statement detailing why you wish to join House Ancora.
   4. If you are coming to us through an Endorsed Guild, please give us the name of that guild.
5. Seek out a sponsor. Your sponsor can be be a member of House Ancora of at least Citizen rank, or it can be a leader or officer of the Endorsed guild you are playing with. Get your sponsor to post his or her support to your application thread.

And that is it! Once your sponsor has posted his or her support, the Knight Scribe will grant you the probationary rank of Serf. After three months, you will be eligible for promotion to full Citizenship! If you have any questions, either post them in the forums or contact the Knight Scribe directly.
